Hospitality Committee
	Goal:  Recognize new members and offer hospitality.

Newcomer Greeters:

Goal:  Greet and welcome newcomers before and after the service.   This committee arranges for greeters to welcome newcomers and visitors prior to the service and to provide assistance at the conclusion of the service by escorting guests to coffee, answering questions and making introductions.  At some of the lighter attended services, this responsibility is shared with ushers.  The scheduling for newcomer greeters is done through the church office.  As people volunteer to be a newcomer greeter, this committee provides training.

Angel Callers

Goal:  Welcome and provide visitors with information about Advent.    This committee receives information each week concerning new people in church.  A letter is sent to the visiting family by the church office and ideally an informational brochure is provided following the church service.  If there is a request for further information, a welcoming telephone call is made to the family, questions answered and information on programs or services offered by the church is provided.

Shepherd Callers
	Goal:  Prepare and provide information about events to newcomers.
